Alison Smith

Alison is an experienced chartered accountant, runner and triathlete, with a love of being outdoors, whether it be on two feet, on two wheels or in the water. She particularly enjoys endurance challenges, having completed several marathons, ultra-marathons, multi-day hikes and bike rides, and loves the freedom and sense of achievement that a journey under your own steam brings.

She lives in Yorkshire and, despite having travelled extensively worldwide, counts the UK's national parks among her favourite places to be. She believes everyone should have the opportunity and support to access our beautiful and outdoor spaces and the benefits they bring to physical and mental well-being.
