1. Ian Sansbury

Ian Sansbury

Chief Executive Officer

Ian has over a decade of leadership experience within the voluntary sector, both with neurodisability charity Pace and the Oasis group of community development charities. Prior to moving into the charity sector, Ian spent 20 years in financial services, predominantly with Goldman Sachs. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a member of the Institute of Fundraising and has bachelor’s degrees in both Management Sciences and History.

Ian is also, unsurprisingly, a keen hill and mountain walker. He is hugely passionate about the benefits being outside has on both physical and mental health. He and his family very much enjoy walking together in the Chilterns, where they live, as well as around the UK and overseas. As a licensed lay minister in the Church of England, Ian has a deep recognition of the power of prayerful contemplation and mindfulness. He has a deep interest in history and politics, a love of cricket and rugby, and is an enthusiastic singer in his local choir.
