John Whitehead
Trustee
John is a former General Counsel at RBS and NatWest & has over 30 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer. He has also been on the Board of Trustees of MIND (Tower Hamlets, Redbridge & Newham) since 2018 and is currently training to be a qualified Mountain Leader.
Growing up in Yorkshire, John developed a life-long passion for hill-walking and wildlife in the British Isles. During a career which he found highly stressful at times, he consciously used his adventures in the mountains as a means of therapy & to maintain resilience during tough periods. He has a mission to encourage others to do the same & so is very excited to be involved in the great work of Mind Over Mountains.
